A nova is a star that appears overnight. The name was not chosen lightly. Nova Aurora places a 15cm pink glass globe directly onto a low polished base, creating a compact table lamp with the presence of a small illuminated object. Off, it holds the room like sculpture. On, the coloured glass turns softer and more atmospheric.
When the solar wind reaches the atmosphere, the sky turns pink at the edges. The two were never supposed to touch.
The Light
Move between warm, neutral and white light as the room changes through the day. The brightness can be adjusted across nine levels, from a faint evening glow to a clearer pool of light for reading, working or getting ready.
People stand in the Arctic dark for hours, hoping. It appears only when it chooses.
The Control
The inline controller handles on/off, colour temperature, brighter and darker settings without adding controls to the lamp itself. The integrated LED is USB powered and must remain connected during use.
